Perils of Picorna Posts

Welcome to previews for Perils of Picorna #2! We’re looking at a release date in early 2011, and artist Missy Pena is hard at work on drawing the new issue.

Here’s a sample panel featuring a bit of imperilment to start things off!

Perils of Picorna co-author Amy Kaczmarowski recently commissioned a set of Perils of Picorna pendants, replicas of the holy symbol that Picorna wears on the cover of Perils of Picorna #1. The artist’s name is Nathan, and you can check out his Etsy shop here.

Just to remind you what we’re taking about, here’s Picorna modeling her pendant.

And here’s writer/editor Rick Silva, modeling the pendant at Pi-Con this past weekend.

Here’s a closeup of the front of the Pendant.

The pendants made for the creative team have different inscriptions on the back. Amy’s reads “First Sister”. Rick’s is “Brother General”, and Missy’s pendant is inscribed with “Sister Illuminator”.

Look for these if you see us on the con circuit! Could this be the precursor to Perils of Picorna cosplay?
