New Issue of The Edge of Propinquity
November 15, 2009
Rick Silva’s urban fantasy serial, Luminations, is approaching the end of its fourth and final year. The penultimate episode has just been published at Edge of Propinquity, and the story will wrap up next month with its 48th installment. It’s been quite a ride, and we hope you’ll all be there for this month’s tale, as well as next month to see how it ends.
Volume 47: November 2009
Welcome to the Edge of Propinquity. Volume 47 is now published. The transition from fall into winter is a thrilling time with brisk winds, nosy storms and the portent of dark days to come. In this penultimate volume we have a trap sprung, a victim lead towards an ambush, a lost soul looking for guidance anywhere he can and an attempt to make amends.
Luminations – Sand by Rick Silva Craig Putnam has proved an elusive target. For months, he’s managed to stay one step ahead of detective Chester Hall and resident vengeful spirit Mattie Ives. Now, Chess and Mattie are setting a trap that they hope will bring the crooked real estate broker to them. But Putnam isn’t going to give up his secrets easily, and he’s prepared a surprise for Chess and Mattie that will turn their physical battle into a test of wills fought on the spirit plane.
Solstice – Autumn, Part Two by Ivan Ewert The Harvest Mixer is under way, and almost everyone who’s anyone in Solstice is present as Mayor Long begins laying the groundwork to bring Mars into his circle of influence. The party’s only starting.
Danyael – Winter’s Night by Nick Bergeron I’m told when you’re rolling down a river, and see a waterfall in front of you, there’s a pause, where you’re able to consider the things that have happened to you. Maybe you get a chance to gather your strength, maybe you just panic. Either way, you’re going off the edge and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.
Guest Author – The House of Bad Blood by Robert Mitchell Evans When a famous author inherits the sins of his father, he discovers that his craft may be the only way to save his life. A classic ghost story.
Have you ever looked over the edge and seen something looking back at you?
