Perils of Picorna #1 has shipped from the printer, and is on schedule to arrive here at Ogremoot on Thursday, April 1 (No fooling!). From there, it’s up to Boston to deliver copies to artist Missy Pena, who will be selling the comic all weekend at Anime Boston.

The comic will be on sale (for just $4!) at table P48 in Artists’ Alley, where you can check out some awesome prints by Missy and her art group, Four the Win. You can check out a map of Artists’ Alley here. We hope you’ll stop by and take a look at the book and say hi to Missy. Rick Silva will be attending Anime Boston, but he hasn’t finalized his schedule yet.

We’re doing the final layouts for the debut issue of Perils of Picorna, and we have some space available for advertising.

Our initial print run is 500 copies, with additional printings as the book sells. The book is scheduled to debut at the upcoming Anime Boston convention, and we are expecting to be selling it at several major events in the coming months including Anime Expo, Otakon, SPACE, and the Maine Comic Arts Festival.

Eighth-Page or Business Card: $20
Quarter-Page: $40
Half-Page: $60
Full Page: $120

We are also offering a Four-For-Two special! Place the same ad in all four of our upcoming books for the price of two ads. So, for double the price listed above, your ad will appear in the debut issues of Perils of Picorna, Stone, and Kaeli & Rebecca, as well as in issue #3 of Zephyr & Reginald: Minions for Hire.

Please note that this is a last-minute offer. The deadline is Wednesday, March 24 2010 for all advertising in Perils of Picorna, as well as for the special.  Art needs to be formatted for immediate inclusion.Black-and-white only.
