Illustrations:We can draw custom spot illustrations for novels, gaming materials, magazines, pamphlets, etc. B&W quarter- to half-page, $25 per image. B&W full page, $40 per image. Color quarter- to half-page, $40 per image. Color full page negotiable. Buyer retains right to personally reuse but not to resell nor distribute in any way. Artist retains right to reuse for self-promotion purposes (i.e. portfolio) and to resell unless agreed upon otherwise. *
Cartoons: We will illustrate a joke and/or cartoon of the buyer's own devising, or have us provide the script ourselves. One to three panels B&W, $20 per cartoon. Larger sizes negotiable. Buyer retains right to personally reuse but not to resell nor distribute in any way. Artist retains right to reuse for self-promotion purposes (i.e. portfolio) and to resell unless agreed upon otherwise. *
Comic books and minicomics: Quarter- or half-size minicomics, or full-page comics up to 6 pages. B&W only. Rates negotiable; please email us with an inquiry and a synopsis/explanation of your project. Sorry, we cannot illustrate full-sized comic books longer than 6 pages at this time.
Proofreading: We will proofread for spelling, grammar, sentence structure and clarity. Professional quality. Any document that contains text is accepted: zines, theses, programs, newsletters, short stories, novels, etc. $1 per page, minimum $5 per document. For documents 30 pages or larger, deals can be negotiated. For fiction, critiques can also be arranged. **
* I am quite willing to agree not to resell an illustration, comic, or cartoon. Just let me know.
** Please note that although we are both published fiction writers in some context, well-educated and well-read, we are not big-name authors. Our critiques are merely supplementary to our proofreading services.
