Gynn Stella Gynn hails from New Hampshire, originally. She earned a BFA in filmmaking at MA College of Art and then dabbled in computer animation and computer-aided design and drafting before meeting Rick Silva and becoming interested in comic books. While living in New Jersey starting around 2000, she contributed illustrations and editing services to Kinships magazine. In 2001 she and Rick married and they now live in Cape Cod, MA with two rescued cats. Gynn volunteers at the Cape Wildlife Center rehabilitating injured and orphaned wild animals. She also volunteers for Frogwatch USA to collect data on frog and toad populations for research purposes. Her minicomic "I Believe..." One Cat's Spiritual Statement was published in the 2005 24-Hour Comic Anthology, which was nominated for an Eisner Award. Currently her creative projects include illustrating products and supplements for the Tunnels & Trolls roleplaying game. She also continues to plug away prolifically at fiction in various forms. Her primary foci, of course, are Issue #2 of Zephyr & Reginald: Minions For Hire and the first book of Knifeclaw Company, which may turn into a graphic novel.
